About Me

Born and raised in Rochester, NY—the land of Kodak, Zweigle’s hot dogs, and the legendary Nick Tahou’s Garbage Plate—my journey has been a blend of academic rigor and creative curiosity. After earning three degrees, including a JD/MBA, I eventually traded the snowy North for the sunshine of Jacksonville, NC, home of Camp Lejeune. By day, I lean on my professional background, but my heart finds its “escape” through the stroke of a pen.

I create line art, doodles, and illustrations as a way to find calm and explore the delightfully “weird” corners of my imagination. While I hesitate to call myself a formal artist, I use my sketches to express a sense of wonder and, hopefully, put a genuine smile on your face. My life is a beautiful, busy mosaic shared with my husband, son, and a literal menagerie of three dogs, eleven cats, two birds, and two pigs.

When I’m not sketching or managing our mini-farm, you’ll find me sipping caramel coffee (my all-day fuel) or getting lost in the “wizarding” world of Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files. Whether I’m watching a DC movie, reading poetry, or enjoying peppermint cocoa by a warm campfire, I believe in finding beauty in the small details—one line at a time.
